ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Cho Ser Jenq is a multidisciplinary design professional and visual storyteller who graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore with a specialization in 3D Design in 2013. He exhibited his furniture work at the International Furniture Fair Singapore in 2012. Following his graduation, he began his career at Studio As Life in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, before establishing his own design studio in 2015.
A year later, he was recruited as an architectural designer at Centdegrés, a French creative agency, and relocated to Shanghai, China. Working closely with the creative director, he contributed to commercial spatial design projects for international luxury brands, including Sephora, Hermès, and Ghazali, as well as leading Chinese brands such as Herborist, Lin Qingxuan, and Proya.
In 2018, he transitioned into creative digital communications at Gusto Luxe (formerly Reuter Communications), where he collaborated with international niche luxury brands including OTB Group, Vivienne Westwood, Profoto, H&M Group, Estée Lauder Inc., Yves Salomon, Mytheresa, and Richemont Inc., helping them establish and grow their presence in the Chinese market. He later continued this journey with Jing Daily, a US-based media company focusing on China's luxury, fashion, and lifestyle landscape.
In 2020, his debut photobook, Lover to Lover, was published and presented at the Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair 2021. The book was subsequently carried by selected stockists across Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, and Shanghai.
At Jing Daily's Shanghai branch, he led visual communications and launched Chinese-language platforms in late 2021, bringing together his expertise in design, storytelling, and digital experiences. He further expanded his creative practice at Jingzhi Media Group in 2024.
Today, Ser Jenq continues to explore visual storytelling through film production and commercial photography, creating cinematic brand films and visual narratives for lifestyle, luxury, hospitality, and consumer brands. His multidisciplinary background in spatial design, product design, and creative direction allows him to approach each project with a strong understanding of aesthetics, craftsmanship, and brand experience.
